Melanie is an environmental data scientist with 14 years of experience in geospatial analysis, statistical modeling, and scientific computing for agriculture and conservation. She holds a PhD in Ecology from Penn State and has authored 16 peer-reviewed journal articles. Her work has supported over $2.7 million in competitive grant funding, and her research on bee communities, land cover, and floral resources has been published in leading journals including Global Change Biology, Landscape Ecology, and Scientific Data.
Tim is a machine learning engineer and data scientist with a background spanning academic biology, mathematical statistics, and production software engineering. He holds a PhD in Animal and Plant Sciences from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Statistics from the University of New Mexico, with 17 peer-reviewed publications. He has led ML and software engineering teams across environmental, government, and enterprise clients, with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, geospatial remote sensing, and MLOps.
